It is with great pleasure that we announce that due to the outpouring of some amazing individuals who have not only called or come by to our Funeral Home to contribute to the services of 10 year Old, Catherine Celina Perez Trujillo, that WE HAVE REACHED OUR GOAL in paying for her funeral costs.

I made a personal commitment to our followers on Facebook and our webpage that I would announce when the goal was reached and we have attained it thanks to you all.

The attention, care and compassion of the citizens of Bridgeport, Fairfield, Stratford, and beyond has been overwhelming for this family and they do not have enough words to express the gratitude for the generosity and compassion shown to them.

We have been asking people who are calling and/or stopping by and still want to contribute if they would like the funds returned to them if we receive them after we have reached the goal or if they wanted us to forward the funds the the family to benefit the two younger siblings of Catherine. EVERY SINGLE ONE has stated to forward any surplus of donated funds to the family and so we will.

If you still want to contribute, you may still do so, understanding again, that it is now at your discretion if you would like to retain your funds for any future situation like this that God Forbid may arise in the future or Forward it for the benefit of the two younger siblings. Either way your hearts and well wishes are received and are truly appreciated.

This has been the first time we have stepped up to spear head the fundraising efforts mainly because we wanted to retain the integrity of such fundraising efforts and instilling the confidence that the funds, collected in one place, are utilized in accordance to what they were meant for. Therefore, we appreciate the cooperation and confidence received from everyone and your outpouring of love and attention to this wonderful family.

Special Thanks again to Bridgeport Hospital, Bridgeport Burial Vault, Doinitlocal.com, Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, News12CT, Noe Hammer, Funeral Director (NY), Mt. Grove Cemetery Association, Matthews International Casket Company, Lakeview Cemetery Association, Park Cemetery Association & the countless individuals who have stepped up to make this a possibility.

Many Blessings to you all & Again Thank You

Edgar Rodriguez
