C.B. was born January 15, 1921 in Appleby, TX to Otis Allen & Ruthie Lee Laws Broach. He lived most of his life in Cherokee Co. and was a member of the Eastside Baptist Church in Rusk. He was a WWII Navy veteran and worked as a self-employed plumber for 33 years. He was an avid Bible reader and he taught Bible school at the First Baptist Church, Jacksonville, and later at Eastside Baptist in Rusk. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Alma Petty Broach, son Charles and wife Melinda Broach, daughter Pamela and husband Victor Whadford.
