LEHI - George William Crossman, age 77 of Lehi, died Sept. 9, 2000 at his home, leaving behind his wife and three sons.

He was born July 5, 1923 in Ogden, UT the son of Thomas and Effie May Carson Crossman. He mar-ried Mary Elma Gray Aug 17, 1949 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Dad has held many jobs, his longest was for Kennecott for over 23 years. He also was a member of the Steel Workers' Union #485. He was a member of the LDS Church and his hobbies were fishing, hunting, crafts, gardening, and his favorite dog, "Lucky."

Survived by his wife of Lehi; sons, George P. (Neola) Crossman, Las Vegas, NV, Edward Lee (Katherine) Crossman, American Fork, David R. (Kathy) Crossman, Murray; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one brother, Verl Crossman, Pleasant Grove; and three sisters, Sadie, Dorothy, Ella. He was preceded in death by three sisters.

Funeral, Thursday, Sept. 14, 2000, 2 p.m. in the Lehi South Stakes Center, 500 W. 600 S.

Friends may call at the Wing Mortuary, 118 E. Main, Lehi, Wednesday 6-8 p.m. and at the church, Thursday one hour prior to services. Internment, Lehi City Cemetery.
