The Daily Notes, Canonsburg PA, Monday 29 March 1937, front page - PETERS TOWNSHIP NATIVE IS DEAD - MRS. ANNA CHEESEMAN CRAIG, a native of Peters Township, died in her home at Latrobe at 5:15 p.m. March 28. Mrs. Craig, was born August 21, 1860. She graduated from Indiana State Normal School in 1880, and for a number of years taught school in Peters Township. May 29, 1895, she was married to DANIEL CRAIG, of Coal Center, who died many years ago. For years she had lived in Latrobe. She was a member of the Presbyterian church there. Surviving are one daughter, MRS. MAYNARD MICHAEL of Swissvale; a sister, E. BELLE CHEESEMAN, of Latrobe, and a brother, JOHN H. CHEESEMAN, of Finleyville. Two other brothers, LOYAL CHEESEMAN, of Canonsburg, R. D., and the REV. J. FRANK CHEESEMAN, of Spokane, Wash., who died recently. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Mingo Presbyterian Church and burial will be in the church cemetery.
