Henry Clifton Avery, 61, former Wacoan died at Galveston on Jan. 20, 1941. Funeral services by Compton's Chapel with Rev. Roland P. Hood of Texas City and Rev. W.W. Melton officiating. Burial in Rosemound Cemetery.

Mr. Avery left Waco about 10 years ago after residing here for 20 yrs.

He was former owner of Waco and Brazos Boiler works here. He was employed by Southport Petroleum Company in Texas City.

Surviving are his widow; Mrs. Francis Avery; one son, Henry Clifton Avery Jr of College Station; two daughters, Mrs. C.W. Good of Huntington Park, CA., and Miss Eleanor Avery of Houston; and one sister Mrs. Carrie Webb of Dallas.
