Charlotte and George were married 11 Jan 1848 in Henry County, TN. They had two sons: McKenzie and Doctor, Dock Arnn. Charlotte raised the children of George and his first wife, Frances Phelps Arnn after the death of Francis in about 1847 and after the marriage to George. Those children were: Lucy Ann, Sarah Jane, and James Madison. Charlotte Lewy/Lewery Arnn died between 1850 census and the marriage in 1857 of George and Louiza Lankford. It is most likely that he remarried shortly after Frances death. Information about sons of Charlotte and George is as follows:

Jinnie/Jennie and McKenzie had a male child in 1879. He describes his baby boy's dark eyes just like those of his mother in a letter written to "Par," George Arnn and "Mar" step mother Louiza Virginia Lankford Arnn. A copy of this original letter is in my possession. It is unknown when Jennie and the boy died; however McKenzie is listed in the 1900 Federal Census in Bristol City, Washington Co VA with his wife Delia and one son and two daughters: The children were: Lloyd Daniel born 1896 at Abington, VA., Geneva born 1898 at Bristol, Washington, VA and Gertrude born 1900 in Virginia. Doctor was his formal name; however, his pet name was Dock Burial records at findagrave show that Doctor died 1900 at McCracken County, Kentucky and was buried at the Newton Creek Cemetery at McCracken KY.
