Born in San Francisco, son of the late Sam and Kate Milon, brother of the late Rudy (Rose) Milon, Nicky (Anna) Milon and Evelyn (the late Carl) Sills. Cherished husband of Joan Milon for 32 years. Proud father of Ricky (Carolyn), adored step-dad to Paul (Linda) Austin, Linda C. Austin and Steven Austin. Grandfather of Lizza Austin, William Austin, Hannah and Ryan Milon. Godfather of Gary Sills and Linda Young. Uncle, great uncle, cousin and good friend to many, especially John Sankovich, Dorothy Chesrown and Pete Cicibrk.

Sammy was a member of the painters union for over 50 years. He was a 58 year member of CFU Lodge 900 and long time member of the SMBS. Donations in his memory may be made to CFU, SMBS or SF Kaiser Hospice Program.

Friends may visit on Tuesday after 9:00AM and are invited to the Funeral Liturgy also on Tuesday at 11:00AM at the chapels of Valente Marini Perata & Co. 4840 Mission St., SF Committal to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
