Elizabeth D. Bye, age 88, of Wausau died Monday, July 16, 2012 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
Elizabeth was born on February 23, 1924 to the late Fred and Elizabeth (Fandre) Tewes. She married Harold Bye on June 15, 1946.
Elizabeth loved spending time with her family and playing with her dogs. For the past thirty six years, Elizabeth enjoyed time "Up North" at Mid Lake watching the eagles.
Survivors include her husband Harold Bye of Wausau; daughters Mary (Robert) Kersten of Wausau and Susan (Edward) Sturgal of Eau Claire; and sister Ruth (Howard) Green of Wausau.
She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Marguerite Revie.
Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a..m. on Friday, July 20, 2012 at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 426 Washington St., Wausau. The Rev. Philip Schneider will officiate. Entombment will be in Restlawn Memorial Park.
