Services for Mr. Dawson Clark, a South Fork township farmer, were held in St. Mary's Catholic Church Tuesday morning with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville. He died at his home on Saturday and was 47 years old.
Born in Georgetown, Kentucky on Dec. 29, 1884 to John and Martha Clark, he came to Illinois and married Miss Alice Howard, of the area, on Nov. 6, 1912.
Survived by his widow and four children: Vernon, Andrew, Mary Martha and John Clark, all of the home. He also leaves five brothers and six sisters; and his father.
