Mr. Patrick Rafferty died at his home on Mill street on Sunday morning, aged 65 years. Mr. Rafferty had been a resident of Frostburg for a great many years, and was known as a quiet and industrious citizen. He was a miner and worked in and around the mines all his life, except for about three years, which he served in the Union army during the civil war. The following children survive him: John Rafferty, Michael Rafferty, Barnard Rafferty and Charles Rafferty; Mrs P. F. Carroll, Mrs. Wm. Jack and Miss Mary Rafferty. Mrs. Rafferty, the wife of the deceased, died about one year ago. The Cumberland Alleganian, Thursday, April 9, 1908
