James Leroy (Jim) Alexander, 23 years, 9 months and 9 days old, departed this time September 16, 1930 at his home in Cooter. His death is believed to have come from poison taken accidentally.
Interment was made at the Taylor Cemetery at Cottonwood Point, with Rev. Pritchard, pastor of the Methodist Church at Cooter officiating.
German Undertaking Company of this city was in charge.
Surviving are his wife, Tracey, father and mother, Henry and Mary Alexander, and several sisters and brothers.
