Hilma Ralls Niehaus, 82, of Rock Hill, died Wednedsay (Oct. 7, 1992) at her home after a long illness.
Mrs. Niehaus was born in Portage des Sioux. She grew up in St. Charles and graduated from St. Charles High School in 1929. She moved to St. Louis and worked as a retail clerk until she married Frank Niehaus.
Mrs. Niehaus was a baker in a high school cafeteria in Brentwood in the 1970s. She retired about 10 years ago. She was a member of the Rock Hill Presbyterian Church, 9407 Manchester Road. Memorials can be made to the church.
Among survivors are two daughters, Joan Niehaus of Rock Hill and Gail Jennings of St. Louis; and two sisters, Midred Peat of Brentwood and Eunice Buchanan of Kansas City.
The body was cremated and the remains interred at the Mount Lebanon cemetery at St. Charles Rock Road and Lindbergh Boulevard.
