Funeral services for Mrs. Celeste Chandler, 53, of Haughton were held at Hurricane Presbyterian Church at 2 p.m. Friday, December 1, with Rev. Warren Dement of Haughton officiating. Interment was in the Hurricane cemetery under the direction of the Norton Funeral Home, of Homer.
Mrs. Chandler, a former resident of Hurricane, died Wednesday, November 29 after an illness of 30 days. She was a member of Assembly of God Church.
Survivors are her husband, Frank R. Chandler, three son, Cleston Chandler, Haughton, Frank H. Chandler, Phoenix, Arizona, Billy C. Chandler, Bossier City, one daughter, Mrs. Rene Helen Welch, Haughton; two brothers, Jim Pardue, New Mexico, Carl Pardue, Amarilla, Texas, one sister, Mrs. Ardell Rhodes, Jamestown. Also 11 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
