Marriage to Friederich Karl "Charles" Heinrich Breithaupt on Sept 8, 1831. Susannah and Charles had 12 children. Susannah died from blood poisoning, she cut her hand while peeling potatoes, making dinner for her family, it became infected. Charles died in 1874, age 73 in Jackson, Missouri. He is probably buried around that area.
