Eugene Williams, 79, of Honey Grove passed away Saturday, May 23, 1992 at home. Mr. Williams was born January 2, 1913 in the Dial Community, the son of Luther S. Williams and Bertha Shew.
Funeral services for Mr. Williams were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, 1992 at the Honey Grove Church of Christ with Jesse Dickison officiating under the direction of Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home of Honey Grove. Burial was made at the Dial Community Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Bobby Thomason, Walter Maroney, Max Covington, Kyle Payne, Gerald Wishard and Jessie Duckworth.
Mr. Williams married Flora Inez Williams on April 28, 1941 in Hugo, Oklahoma and was a retired farmer and dairyman.
Survivors include on daughter, Mrs. Jean Jackson of Bogata: four sons, Louie Ray Williams, Joe Williams, Terry Don Williams and Charles David Williams all of Honey Grove; one sister, Mary Ruth Fox of Lufkin; two brothers, George Williams of Durant, Oklahoma, D.C. Williams of Honey Grove; nineteen grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his wife, Flora on May 12, 1978 and one daughter, Ruth Pamplin on March 29, 1979.
