For Pious Remembrance
of our beloved, unforgotten Son,
Brother, Brother-in-law, Nephew, Uncle
and Cousin.

Theodor Saule

Grenadier

Born at 1. Sept. 1926 in Augsburg,
Fallen at 10. August 1944 in the East.

The pleasure of your return was not granted to yours and may they mourn the most beloved. You sank down, like roses sank if they are in bloom and bitter hot tears flow because you had to go. Over is now the pleasure of hope, you see your homeland nevermore. We are bowed by pain and grief, your place in our circle is empty. Now rest in peace beloved son and brother, yours is the rest and us the grief. There, where the peace palms wave, there we will see us again.
