Jessie Pearl (Hayes) Stevens 87, died at the Greenwood County hospital, November 9,1976. She was born January 31,1889 at Climax, the daughter of Alexander and Alzira (Webb) Hayes.
She was married to Arlie Miller and in their union one son, George M. Miller.
Later she married Albert C. Stevens. She was a housewife and a member of the Baptist Church. She has resided in Greenwood County all her life.

Those who survive her are: one son George Miller of Solomon,Kansas, two daughter Mrs. George A. (Pauline) Pratt of El Ddorado; Mrs Walter D.(Ruth) Garland of Borger,Texas: one sister, Mrs.Pauline Faye Parrish, Ottawa,Kansas.

20 grandchildren, 29 Great grandchildren, 2 Great great children,other relatives and friend.

Her husband, one daugther, three brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held Campbell Funeral Home.

Thursday, November 11, 1976, at 2:00 pm.

The Reverend R.F. Schaechtele Officiated clergyman.

Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
