Alexander J. Bergman, 23, of Somers, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 9, 2012. Alex was born January 20, 1989 in Tampa, FL and is the beloved son of Dale J. and Gail A. (Dietz) Bergman. Alex graduated from North Salem High School in 2007. He excelled in academics, lacrosse and football and was a recipient of The National Merit Scholarship Award. He enjoyed boy scouts, playing piano and achieved a Black Belt in Kenpo Karate. He attended Boston College where he was pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in English. Alex was employed by J & J Pharmacy in Teaneck, NJ.
In addition to his parents, Alex is survived by his maternal grandfather, Calvin E. Dietz, his Uncle Cliff and Ruth Ann Bergman, Aunt Cheryl and Tony Lupia of Reading, PA, Uncle Craig Dietz of Houston, TX and 9 cousins.
