My grandmother was always good to me. I used to go out and pick her berries and grapes before she had a chance to get to them to make jelly but she never scolded me. She always had sweetpeas growing in her back yard and I always think of her whenever I smell them. One time my mother was going to pick cherries somewhere with one of her sisters. I raised a big stink because I couldn't go along. My grandmother diverted my attention by having me go to a neighbor's yard to pick dandelions.
