Rosemary "Rosie" Farvour. 77, reached eternal peace at Mercy Medical Center on November 9, 1998. Her death came as the result of a ruptured abdominal aortic aneurism on November 1.

Rosemary was born October 5, 1921, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Lester I. and Lillian C. DuMez. She attended the Wauwatosa public schools and graduated in 1939. She attended Ripon College through December of 1941. On May 8, 1942, she was married to Franklin B. Farvour at Camp Haan, California. She resided in California until September of 1943, when Capt, Farvour went into extended field training and movement to the European Theater of Operations. She and her family have resided in the Ripon vicinity since October of 1945.

She is survived by her husband of 56½ years, a daughter, Marylin F. Shaw of Ripon, son Thomas B. Farvour, of Ripon, son Richard L. (Kathleen) Farvour of Waukesha, six grandchildren, one great- grandson, and one brother, Richard A. (Elizabeth) DuMez of Asheville, NC, and neices and nephews.

There will be no visitation. A memorial mass will be held at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Ripon on Friday, November 13th at 7:00 PM. Reverend Canon Robert J. C. Brown and Reverend Kenneth Okkerse will conduct the service.

Cremains will be scattered in places dear to Rosemary and known only to the family.

In lieu of flowers please send memorials to the Ripon Historical Society, Ripon College, or St. Peter's Episcopal Church of Ripon.
