[Menomonee Falls News, Thursday, April 6, 1995, p. 30] Menomonee Falls resident Garvin E. Bauer died April 2 at Community Memorial Hospital. He was 101. Mr. Bauer, a retired dairy farmer, is survived by his wife, Lillian Bauer; three sons, Arvin (Alice) Bauer of West Bend, Dennis (Beverly) Bauer of Hartland and Kerlin (Marsha) Bauer of Colgate; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a brother-in-law, Otis (Anna) Motz; and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Bauer. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Gertrude Bauer; four children; one grandchild; two sisters and one brother. Services and interment were held Wednesday at Zion United Methodist Church in Colgate. Arrangements were made through Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home in Menomonee Falls.
