She was the daughter of Clark E. and Blanche E. (John) Curtis. She attended grade school at Union Country School in Lucas County and graduated from Norwood Consolidated H.S.
She earned her teaching certificate at Iowa State Teachers College and taught at Union School and at the Norwood Consolidated School.
On August 22, 1928 she was united in marriage to Ralph Burdette Conrad at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. To this union three daughters were born.
Surviving are the daughters, Margaret (Donald) Saxton of Huntsville, Alabama; Mary (Donald) Holland of West Bend; and Betsy (Dean) Berggren of Cedar Falls. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Cyril (Lois) Curtis of Chariton, and Homer (Helen) Curtis of Cochran, GA; one sister, Gladys (Robert) Hedemann of Columbus Junction; three sister-in-laws, Margaret Conrad McGee of Sun City, Arizona; Ruth Curtis of Norwood, and Gretchen Conrad Haldemann of Dunedin, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
Angie was preceded in death by her husband in 1969, her parents and two brothers, William and Emory.
She was a loving mother and grandmother and took pride in her family and home and valued her many friends.
