Vivian died Monday, 21 October 1940 at 5:30 p.m.
She graduated from Iowa State Teacher College in Cedar Falls and married Frank Johann Hons on 22 June 1929, in Manchester. From this union was born their only child, Glennda Gayle Harris on 13 February 1936.
She leaves to mourn her death her dear husband, Frank Hons and their daughter Glennda Gayle; her mother, Mrs. Anna Harris of Scribner, Nebraska; 4 brothers; Eldred M. and Everett of Scribner, William of Paullina, and Glenn of Liscomb, Iowa; 3 sisters: (Goldie) Mrs. Howard McCord of Hampton; (Adalma) Mrs. Orlo Smith; and (Vera) Mrs. Clarence Smith, both of Paullina; and other relatives and many friends.
She was precede in death by 2 brother: Merlin and Melvin; and 2 sister: Susie Belle and Bernice.
Funeral service were held on Thursday, October 24th at the Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church of Calumet at 2 p.m., the Rev. C.E. Gabler officiating, assisted by Rev. J.M. Howdesell. Interment was made in Liberty Cemetery of Calumet.
