"The funeral of Willie Lambert, 80, of 223 Malvern St., Monroe, will be at 3 p.m. today in the Hixon Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Monroe with the Revs. Robert L. Chatham and James Folds officiating.
Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Monroe.
Mr. Lambert died Monday at his home after a brief illness.
He was a retired employee of F. Strauss and Son.
Survivors include one son, A. R. Lambert of West Monroe; one daughter, Mrs. Gearlene White of Bosco; four brothers, Clarence Lambert, O. E. Lambert and J. B. Lambert, all of Gilmer, Texas, Ben Lambert of Lindale, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Owen of West Monroe, LA, Mrs. Ruth Flowers of Gilmer; and 16 grandchildren. Grandsons will be pallbearers."
