Mary Conley Jasper, 98, of Van Lear, died Wednesday, May 7, atHighlands Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg. Born Nov. 9, 1904, in Johnson County, she was a daughter of thelate Daniel Greene and Molie Burke Conley. She was a homemaker and a member of Highland Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hyde Jasper. Survivors include three daughters, Martha Jasper Russel and JanetJasper Butcher, both of Paintsville, and Marie Jasper Jude of VanLear; two brothers, Charles Conley of Ashland and Bearl Conley ofPaintsville; two sisters, Sophia Conley and Sarah Stratton, both ofVan Lear; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Saturday, May 10, at Highland Church ofChrist, Paintsville, with Rev. Jerry Scott officiating.
