He was born Feb. 2, 1960, in Little Falls to Joane and George "Bud" Batters. He worked for 12 years at the local bakery and the past 14 years at Ray's Body Shop in Little Falls as head mechanic. He married Tina Rakow on Aug. 16, 1997.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Zachary and Quintin; two daughters, Shelby and Linzy; adopted son, Adam Batters; his mother; three brothers, Bruce, Michael and Mark; and a sister, Wendy.
His father and a grandparent, Marian Batters, died earlier.
Memorial services will be at a later date. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Little Falls at a later date.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today, with parish prayers at 7 p.m., at Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls.
