SIMON GLUNT, one of the best known citizens of Wayne Township, died at 5:20 yesterday morning at the family residence, one and a half miles north of Odell. He had been ill fourteen months and his death was caused by stomach and liver trouble. He was born in Cambria County, Pa., on July 14, 1839, and came to this county about thirty-three years ago. He was married on September 1, 1864 to Miss Martha Anne Probasco, and Mrs. Charles Taylor, of Odell, is the only surviving issue of that marriage. He was married again on April 9, 1883 to Mrs. Rebecca Walker, who survives. Mr. Glunt was an honest and industrious man, a successful farmer and good citizen, and was held in high esteem by the entire community.

The funeral will be conducted from the Methodist church in Odell this afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. Rev. W.P. Mikels will officiate and the interment will be made in the Marks Cemetery.
