He was listed on the manifest as a laborer, she as a servant. They were able to read and write. It lists them as coming from Hamar, Norway, and were heading for Lanesboro, Minnesota, and that their passage had been paid fully to their final destination. They each had $10 with them. They were going to their friend Johan Jacobsen Gravaas, Lanesboro, Mn. They were both listed as being 5'4", in good health, they were not polygamists, they were not crippled or deformed, they were not anarchists, and they had no identifying marks.
