Addie Belle McGrady was born April 13, 1939, in Lindale, to the late J.C. Batey and Eunice Gertrude Alvey Batey. She had lived in the East Texas area all of her life and was a seamstress. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl Kay Henderson in 1985; a sister, Gladys "Sissy" Starnes; and a brother, Doyle Batey.
Survivors include her husband, Fred McGrady, Colfax; children, Billy Henderson, Lindale, Libby McGrady, Colfax, and Tim McCrady, Colfax; brothers, Glenn Batey, Lake Palestine, J.C. Batey, Colfax,and Ronnie Batey, Garden Valley; sister, Betty Mullican, Arp; grandchildren, Chris, Sarah and Caleb; and great-grandchildren, Austin, Harley, Aubree and Ely.
