Princeton, Mo., June 7. - Peter Kindred, who shot and killed Andrew Allyn and dangerously wounded his cousin, Joseph A. Allyn, at Mercer, on February 5th, 1898, was hanged here today. Kindred had been acting strangely for two months and was thought to be insane. He had to be led to the scaffold and held in position while being pinioned. Dr. Woodson pronounced him sane.
