Handady Kushala Shetty, 92, of Valdosta, died on Sunday, July 1, 2012 at his home after a short illness. Born in Brahmavar, Karnataka, India on June 15, 1920, to the late Matpadi Krishna Shetty and Puttamma Shedthi . Mr. Shetty was an engineer in Telecommunications Department of Government of India. A widower, his wife, Mrs. Girija Shetty had predeceased him by ten years.

Nirmala and Dhanraj Padhair of Valdosta, son, Ambassador Balkrishna and his wife, Vasundara Shetty of New Delhi, India, daughter, Vijaylakshmi Shetty of San Jose, CA and her husband, K.
