Mrs. Deborah Kaye Barwick, 47, of Swainsboro died Saturday morning, June 30, 2012 at the Emanuel Medical Center following an extended illness.

Mrs. Barwick was born in Orlando, FL, but later in life moved to Swainsboro. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Bertie Fields.

Mrs. Barwick loved working in her flower garden and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Oak Park Church of God.

Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Billy Barwick of Swainsboro; mother, Mary Ester (William) Trammell of Oak Park; son, Billy Joseph (Crystal) Barwick of Metter; daughter, Crystal Cheree Barwick and Ronnie Barber of Swainsboro; sisters, Dori Lynn (Billy) Daniels of Olifftown and Diane (Mark) Gentrey of Chattanooga, TN; 4 grandchildren, Jessie Billy Barwick and Raina Marie Barwick both of Metter, Makenzie Barber and Kolby O’Brian Barber both of Swainsboro; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 10:00 o’clock Tuesday morning, July 3, 2012 with Evangelist Lynn Chance officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Park City Cemetery.
