VASSALBORO --Marcionette Marie Dunton, 81, a resident for the past 10 years at Volmer's Country Living Center, passed away early Saturday morning at Inland Hospital in Waterville.

She was born in Winslow on Aug. 10, 1923, the daughter of Adelard and Julianna (Albert) Huard. She was educated in local schools and enjoyed dancing, bowling, motorcycling, bingo, walking and music.

She is survived by her children, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald (Donna) Dunton of Bangor, and Mr. and Mrs. Matt (Darlene) Benedict of Baltimore, Md.; her sister, Stella Huard of Winslow; her brothers, Donald Huard of Winslow, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Huard of Winslow; Norman Huard of Waterville, Mr. and Mrs. Roland Huard of Willimantic, Conn., and Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Huard of Jacksonville, Fla.; her two grandsons, Shawn Dunton of Glenburn and Mr. and Mrs. Kevin (Jessica) Dunton of Bangor; and her great-grandson, Austin Luna of Glenburn.

She was predeceased by her sister, Gertrude Bizier of Waterville.

Friends may call tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm St., Waterville. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church on Monument Street in Winslow. Committal prayers and burial will follow in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, Grove Street, Waterville.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be sent to Volmer's Country Living Center, 513 Main St., Vassalboro 04989.
