TRICHE Risley C. "Pappy" Triche ws born on August 16, 1927 and died peacefully at his home on Tuesday, June 26, 2012. He is survived by his children: Christine "Tina" of Dallas, Texas, Jane and her husband, John Milazzo of Napoleonville, LA, Lisa and her husband, Paul Breaux of Destrehan, LA, Martin and his wife, Anissa of Napoleonville and N.J. "Bumpy" and his wife, Jenny of New Orleans, LA; and his daughter-in-law, Terry Triche wife of deceased son, James Triche. He had twelve grandchildren: James Nail, Jimmy Triche, Richard Perque, Triche Lambeth, Anne Schmidt, Jerome Perque, Risley Trich IV, K Joseph Perque, Sam Triche, Charlie Triche, Mary Catherine Triche and John "Jack" Triche; five great-granchildren: Madelyn, Alexander, Jax, Tavian and Clara Eloise. He was predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Clara; and his children: Anne, Riz and Jimmy. Much of his life was dedicated to public service; he was elected Mayor of Napoleonville at the age of 24 serving as the youngest mayor in the state, he served in the Louisiana legislature during two decades. He was a delegate to the Louisiana Constitutional Conventional in 1973 and was named to the Louisiana Political Hall of Fame in 2010. His greatest loves, however, were his family and the practice of law. Visitation will be held at Assumption Catholic Church in Plattenville, Louisiana from 8:00 a.m. until the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Arc of Assumption, P.O.
