Dorothy Aldridge of Salinas died Thursday at her home after a lengthy illness. She was 76.
A native of Minnesota, Mrs. Aldridge lived in Salinas for 40 years. She worked for Wells Fargo Bank for 21 years before her retirement and was a member of Madonna del Sasso Church and the Wells Fargo Bank Club.
Mrs. Aldridge is survived by two sisters, Grayce Montrose of El Segundo, and Virginia Stinson of Santa Rosa.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to the time of service today at Whitehurst/Muller Chapel. A rosary will be said at 2 p.m. today at the chapel with funeral services to follow. The Rev. Michael Cross of Madonna del Sasso Church will officiate. Private burial will be at the Castroville Community Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Visiting Nurses Association of Salinas.
