Painter & Potter in Middletown Point / Matawan.

Born in Mercer County, Ezra came to Middletown Point/Matawan in 1845. Between 1845 & 1851, he was a carriage painter. In 1852, he went into the pottery business with Josiah Van Schoick- establishing the firm of Van Schoick- + Dunn up to the time of his death. The style of the firm since 1850 has been Dunn, Dunlop & Co..
