Mrs. Adams was born in Florence County, daughter of the late Roy D. And Sadie C. Alexander Hatchell. Faye worked as a nurses assistant for many years. She had moved to Washington after the death of her husband, Harry Chester Adams, in 2005 to live with her grandson.. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church.
Surviving are her son, Johnny Adams of Spokane Valley, WA, a daughter, Mary L. Adams of Montana, three grandchildren, one great grandchild, three sisters; Eunice (Mack) Morgan of Hendersonville, TN, June (Herbert) Martin of Darlington, Judy Andrews of Lamar, Marie (Johnny) White of Timmonsville, two brothers, Ronnie (Sandra) Hatchell of Darlington and John (Evelyn) Lowery of Hartsville.
