Mattie Faye Hatchell Adams, age 76, died February 1, 2007 in Spokane Valley, WA. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, February 10, in the chapel of Belk Funeral Home, with interment following in Grove Hill Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Ted Windham.

Mrs. Adams was born in Florence County, daughter of the late Roy D. And Sadie C. Alexander Hatchell. Faye worked as a nurses assistant for many years. She had moved to Washington after the death of her husband, Harry Chester Adams, in 2005 to live with her grandson.. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church.

Surviving are her son, Johnny Adams of Spokane Valley, WA, a daughter, Mary L. Adams of Montana, three grandchildren, one great grandchild, three sisters; Eunice (Mack) Morgan of Hendersonville, TN, June (Herbert) Martin of Darlington, Judy Andrews of Lamar, Marie (Johnny) White of Timmonsville, two brothers, Ronnie (Sandra) Hatchell of Darlington and John (Evelyn) Lowery of Hartsville.
