MILTON — Florence Nelson Anderson, age 89, of Milton, WI, died Monday, July 19, 2004, at Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Florence was born in Stoughton, WI, on Oct. 17, 1914, to Alfred and Hattie Nelson. She graduated from Stoughton High School and from Madison Business College. On Sept. 12, 1937, she married Arthur J. Anderson and filled her years being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Milton, and enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. She is survived by her children: Gary (Carole) Anderson, Kay (Bruce) Kenyon, David Anderson, Betty (Pete) Reed, son-in-law, Mike Van Coulter, all of Milton; grandchildren: Michael (Barri) Van Coulter, Michele (Tom) Morin, Lisa Schroeder, Holly Anderson, Chad (Maria) Kenyon, Troy (Amy) Kenyon, Lance (Sarah) Kenyon, Brent and Elliot Anderson, Ryan Heise, Rachel and Aaron Reed, Mark (Kasey) Reed and Mike (Jessica) Reed; 14 great-grandchildren; and several sisters-in-law. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur J. Anderson; daughters, Kathleen Anderson and Marlene Van Coulter; a grandson, Mark Anderson; and a brother, Lester. A celebration of Florence's life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 22, 2004, at HOPE LUTHERAN CHURCH, Milton, WI, with Pastor Ron Weber officiating. Burial will be in Milton Junction Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday evening at ALBRECHT FUNERAL HOME, Hwy. 26, Milton, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., and on Thursday at the CHURCH from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 10:30 a.m.
