Mildred Blaase, 102, of rural Herrick died at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday (June 27, 2012) at her residence in Cold Spring Township, Shelby County.
She was born April 12, 1910 in Arcola,, the daughter of Gilbert and Elva Roderick Romine. She married Charles Raymond Blaase on Dec. 8, 1930 in Tuscola. He died March 23, 1990. She was also preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Eva Leah Schultz, Gladys King and Fern Whiteman and brothers, Bill Romine and George Romine.
She is survived by a son, Raymond W. Blaase of rural Herrick.
