1880 Census has him at age 34 with his parents and sister Catharin (27) and 2 youngest brothers, Lewis(17)and Sherman(15)in White Oak Township, Michigan.
On 2-23-1910 he married Lucy Aseltine Shaw, a 68 year old widow in Owosso, Michigan. George was 63. No other marriage has been found for him at this time.
1910 Census show George and Lucy living in Ingham Township, Ingham County, Michigan.
Lucy died on 2-10-1914. She is buried in Fairview Cemetery with her first husband, Orrin Shaw.
George died 10-30-1928 in Midland, Michigan. Listed as Widowed. It is not known if he remarried after Lucy's death. He is buried with his parents and several other family members in Fairview Cemetery, Dansville, Michigan.
