Mrs. Ann Elizabeth Walker Ball, wife of Mr. A. M. Ball, after a long illness, died yesterday afternoon at her residence, No. 111 East Clay Street. She leaves beside her husband five children, Messrs. E. W., Harvey G., Otway W., James W. and Miss Annie V. Ball, all of Richmond.

Mrs. Ball was in her 66th year. She had been almost an invalid for about twelve months. Most of this time she was unable to leave her room. She was given during these months the tenderest nursing by her husband, children, and friends.

Mrs. Ball was a most consistent Christian and a valued member of Grace Street Baptist Church. She was charitable and kind and her many friends and acquaintances will regret to learn of her death. She was the last of one of the oldest families in Virginia and was the daughter of the late O. D. and Rebekah Browne. She was the last member of her family.
