Judee Rae McMurry

Judee Rae McMurry, 73, of Loveland, formerly of Fort Collins, passed away at the Medical Center of the Rockies surrounded by her loving family on Friday June 22, 2012. Judee was born June 18, 1939 in Crawford, Nebraska to Elmer L and Wilma (Hack) Pullen. The family lived in Sioux County Nebraska where Judee attended school. After graduating from high school, she attended the Central Business College of Denver where she graduated with a degree in Business Administration. Judee was a Methodist and had a strong Christian faith. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Ladies Auxiliary of the Moose Lodge and sang as a member of Sweet Adelines. She loved hobbies and crafts, was an accomplished artist painting in both oils and water color. While living in Tucson, Arizona, she spent endless hours in her swimming pool that she loved. She loved pets, especially her dogs, Mel and Bear. Her greatest pleasure and love was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Judee is survived by her sons Robert "Doug" Parmely of Manville, Wyoming, William H. (Teddi) Corbin of Aurora, Colorado, daughters Brenda (Don Chavez) Stuckert of Fort Collins and Brook (Kevin) Ryan of Aurora, Colorado and a sister Nancy (Robert) York of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, 10 grandchildren and 6.5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Burt McMurry, her parents and daughter Merry Beth Parmely. A service to celebrate Judee's life is scheduled for Wednesday June 27, 2012 at 2 PM at the Fort Collins Moose Lodge 4820 S. College Avenue with the Rev. Ritchie Bibelheimer officiating.
