Ichabod Cole was elected Justice of the Court of Common Pleas, Bristol Co. RI in 1800, 09, 11 to 1817. He was Treasurer of the Baptist Missionary Society, 1789 to 1812, and president of the Society from 1825 to 1841; was LT 2nd Co. Warren Militia, 1784; afterward Major of the regiment. He was a Revolutionary soldier, ensign Waren Militia.
Ichabod received an annual pension of $177.48 for serving in the Rhode Island militia. This commenced in 1831 when he was 85. Roby had already passed away by then.
