Donna Sue "Caffey" Schwarz of Thorndale, TX passed away June 22, 2012. She was born September 25, 1959 to Bobby and Betty Caffey in Taylor, TX. She was raised in Thorndale and Deer Park, TX and graduated from Thorndale High School in 1978.
Donna met the love of her life Glenn Schwarz when she was a teenager. They were married on October 1, 1977 and had three sons. Donna has worked for Thorndale ISD for the past 20 years, most recently as a teacher's aide. Donna loved people and most of all, her family and friends. She was a rock that much of her family counted upon. Donna was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Thorndale.
Donna is survived by her parents Bobby and Betty Caffey of Thorndale, her husband Glenn Schwarz, son Chad Schwarz and wife Randa of Pflugerville, son Jason Schwarz of Huntsville, son Justin Schwarz of Thorndale, and granddaughter Avery Schwarz of Pflugerville. She is also survived by brother Rex Caffey of Buda and Randy Caffey of Lubbock and sister-in-law Nell Caffey, mother-in-law Evelyn Schwarz, brother-in-law Phillip Schwarz and wife Janet, brother-in-law Mike Schwarz, sister-in-law Lori Schwarz and brother-in-law James Schwarz and wife Rochelle. Donna also had numerous other much loved nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by father-in-law Arthur Schwarz, brother-in-law Kenneth Schwarz, and nephew Kevin Caffey.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday June 28 at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor.
Celebration of life services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 29 also at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor.
Burial will take place immediately following in Salty Cemetery in Thorndale, TX.
