Funeral services were held December 31 for Mrs. Lois Alexander Barnett, 83, who died December 30 at Carter's Guest Home in Jackson. Services were conducted by Rev. Ray Bowling, Rev. Thomas Lynn Craft, and Rev. John Chatham at the Calvary United Pentecostal Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Barnett was a homemaker, a member of First Pentecostal Church in Jackson, and a former member of Calvary Untied Pentecostal Church in Jayess.
Survivors include two daughters: Mrs. Laverne McKinney, Jayess and Mrs. Vera Ladene Neal of Raymond; two brothers: Mr. Otha Alexander and Mr. Clarence Alexander, both of Jayess; eleven grandchildren and twenty-seven great grandchildren.
Mrs. Barnett was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Nellie Ruth Brister.
Pallbearers were Gerald Alexander, Carey Alexander, Billy Joe Alexander, Derl Barnett, Roy Barnett and Devon Barnett.
