Observer-Reporter, Washington PA, Tuesday 11 August 1964, page 18 - EMILY FIFE CHEESEMAN, 52, of Eighty Four, R. D. 1, near Thomas, died unexpectedly Monday, August 10, 1964, in her ancestral home. Mrs. Cheeseman was born in North Strabane Township August 19, 1911, a daughter of JAMES HULTZ and CARRIE McMURRAY FIFE. She graduated from Trinity High School in 1929 and from Muskingum College, Cambridge, Ohio, in 1933. Until the time of her death she was a teacher in the Canon-McMillan School District, in the first ward. She was a former member of Mt. Prospect United Presbyterian Church and the Agnes Murray Missionary Society. On June 30, 1949 she married J. TAYLOR CHEESEMAN. After her marriage she joined the Center Presbyterian Church and the women's organizations of the church. She was a member of Delta Sorority at Muskingum College and the Canonsburg chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and various social clubs. She is survived by her husband, J. TAYLOR CHEESEMAN, and one daughter, NANCY LOUISE, at home.

D. 1, who died Monday, August 10, 1964, will be received at the Leonard Griffith Funeral Home, Canonsburg, from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday an from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Services will be held at the funeral home Thursday, August 13, at 2 p.m. in charge of Rev. Joseph Rodgers. Burial in Mingo Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
