Analda Eugene "Jack" Wable, 86, of Markleysburg died of a heart attack while hunting deer hunt on November 29, 1976.
Mr. Wable left his home at about 7 a.m. yesterday. He was alone. When hey failed to return home by 7 p.m., the Markleysburg Henry Clay Volunteer Firemen were alerted and a search was begun.
He was later found at about 8 p.m a short distance from his parked vehicle just across the Pennsylvania line on Brown Hill, in Garrett County, Maryland.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Dorothy Wable; five children, Mary Alice Durst of Confluence; Berdella Fike of Markleysburg; Margaret Crawford of Connellsville; Sarajane Artice of Meyersdale; and Shirley Vance of Orrville, Ohio; two step-children, John Junior Dean of Markleysburg, and Clara Belle Cuppett of Bruceton Mills, West Virginia; 26 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Friends will be received in the Williams Funeral Home, Markleysburg, after 7 p.m. today with services Thursday at 1 p.m. with the Reverend Robert Miller in charge. Burial will be in the Humbertson Cemetery, Route 40 at Markleysburg.
