Jamison, Angela Michelle 12 years old, passed away on June 23, 2012 after a sudden illness. She was born on January 19, 2000 and was a lifelong Dallas resident. Angela had just finished 6th grade at The Winston School and previously attended The Shelton School. In her short life, Angela experienced more happiness and love than many people who live decades longer. Her parents and extended family adored her and her older brother Jimmy was an inseparable companion. Angela's long, flawlessly braided hair and bubbly personality made an impression that was impossible to forget. Her bright, joyful smile could light up the darkest room. She was an articulate and confident speaker, just as comfortable with adults as with her peers. Angela had remarkable creative talents and could fashion decorative items out of the most unusual materials like duct tape. Of her many interests, she especially enjoyed theater, photography and the school band. She also loved reading, jumping on the trampoline and riding her bike, Angela savored each moment of a life that ended far too soon. While those of us she left behind cannot understand her unexpected passing, we trust in God's plan and seek His comfort. Angela is survived by her loving parents James and Clara Jamison and brother James Gray Jamison Jr. (Jimmy). Also surviving are grandmothers Bertha Gray Jamison of Houston and Maria Castaneda of Colombia, uncles and aunts Bryan and Stephanie Jamison and Bruce and Martha Jamison of Houston, uncles Anastacio and Guillermo Carvajal and aunts Delfina and Maria Angela Carvajal of Colombia. Cousins are Emily Schmid, Melanie Jamison, Lauren Jamison, Matt Clark, Meredith Clark, Sam Jamison and Melissa Philbrook. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at the Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home, 7405 W. Northwest Highway, Dallas, Texas. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 27 in the sanctuary at Lovers Lane United Methodist Church, 9200 Inwood Road, Dallas, Texas. A private interment service will be later at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery in Houston. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to The Winston School in Dallas or to the performing arts charity of your choice .
