JAMES FLATTERY DROPS DEAD

Prominent Farmer Victim of Heart Attack Saturday
James Flattery, well known farmer of Franklin township, died suddenly of heart trouble on Saturday morning while attending church services at Georgetown. He was 71 years old.
Mr. Flattery was apparently in good health and had gone to Georgetown to attend mass. He entered the church and sat down in his pew and soon fell over dead. Mr. Flattery had not been subject to heart attacks and his untimely death was a shock to his many friends. He is survived by his wife and several children and many relatives and friends.
Coroner Hyatt was called and held an inquest over the remains. The verdict returned was that Mr. Flattery had come to his death from some unknown cause, probably heart disease, there being no evidence of violence.
Mr. Flattery was born June 13, 1854.
Funeral services were held at Georgetown this morning and were largely attended. The Rev. Father Murphy celebrated mass and the remains were laid to rest in the Georgetown cemetery.
