Clarence E. Brown, youngest son of Eliza and Martha(Mowre) Brown, was born in Davis county, July 21 1882 and departed this life February 15th, 1920 age 37 years, 7 months and 25 days. He was married to Miss Julia Zachaw September 8, 1909. To this union were born two children, Freda age 9 and Floyd, age 8.
He leaves to mourn his loss beside his family, his mother, Mrs. Martha Stowers of Piedmont, Mo., two sisters, Mrs. Rettie Hemm of White Elm, Mrs. Flora Hootman of Eldon; one brother, Ed Brown of Eldon, beside a host of other relatives.
He was a kind, loving husband and father and a good neighbor, ready to lend a helping hand to anyone. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
